Shipping Policy

All orders are shipped directly from the manufacturer. The length of time it will take to arrive depends on the production time of the designer. Most orders ship within 3-4 business days. If ship time is longer than the average 7 days it will be listed in the product descriptions. Please expect to add 2-3 days for holiday orders. Some products will be charged an extra shipping surcharge.

Rush Services:

Canadian & International Orders:

Canadian orders have a transit time of 7- 10 days. A shipping surcharge of $35.00 applies to all orders. The $35.00 will be charged at the time of purchase. APlaceForGiftBaskets.com is not responsible for tariffs for additional taxes imposed by Canada. Any orders that are refused by customer will be charged back to the customer's credit card.

International Shipping Times:

Standard: 7-10 business days
Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.

Shipping charges for some packages are based on the weight of the package. The price you are given when placing an online order is an estimate and it is sometimes necessary for us to adjust the price on your credit card. Engraving costs will vary from product to product. Additional fees may apply. 

Orders with engraving ships in 3 - 4 business days 

Orders with rush engraving (if selected) ships in 1 - 2 business days at an additional cost. 

Engraving is done as specified in the engraving text box. Requests for any engraving changes will not be considered after an order has been placed. 

The maximum number of characters allowed will vary from product to product and can be found on each product’s page. Monogram font options will have a maximum of 3 characters only. 

Engravers will choose the best location and size of the engraving on each other if no specific request for location and/or size were made in the Order Notesbox. 

If a font has not been selected when placing an engraving request, Roman Blockwill be the font used on the order. 

For any of the Monogram font options, the initials engraving is done as specified in the order.  Initials should be given in a first name, last name and middle name format (e.g. John F. Kennedy = JKF; K will be the biggest letter, J and F will be the same size). Please ensure the order is correct to avoid any mistakes in regards to the monogram font options before placing the order. 

Bulk discounts may be offered if order contains the same products with the same engraving request. If interested, please contact VisolProducts for more information.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES ON ANY ENGRAVED ITEMS.Engraving errors made by VisolProducts will be the only exception.

Chocolate Gifts As a reminder: Chocolate and perishable gifts need to ship via Next Day air May 15th through mid October. The current price list has all chocolate items which are recommended for expedited shipping highlighted in purple for your review.  The gift baskets highlighted in purple are recommended to ship via Next Day air only during this time with an additional $7.50 surcharge for ice and cold wrap. Please specify you want the additional ice and cold wrap in the shipping comments area of your order. If you do not specify you want the ice we will not include it. If you want to ship one of these gifts via ground we are more than happy to accommodate your request. You ship these gift at your own risk at all times from May through October. We do not offer refunds or discounts of any kind for melted or damaged chocolates even when they are shipped via air. We will of course add ice or cold wrap any time you wish to pay for it. But we can tell you the ice and cold wrap will not protect chocolate when an item sits in the heat for more than 1 day. It simply will not work and again we do not offer refunds or discounts on melted chocolate. We do not pay claims of any kind on these items if they melt, even when shipping via next day air. All other gifts containing chocolate will have the chocolates substituted out for hard candies when the gift ships any way other than next day air.
